Christy Canterbury is a Master of Wine and also holds the titles “Diploma of Wine & Spirits” from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust and “Certified Sommelier” from the Court of Master Sommeliers.
Christy has bought wine as the National Wine Director for Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group and as the Corporate Beverage Director for Culinary Concepts by Jean-Georges, where she opened and managed restaurants from Istanbul and Doha to Vancouver and Bora Bora. She was also the Wine Acquisitions Director for Italian Wine Merchants, a high-end retail concept catering to wine collectors. She has been a judge for the Ultimate Wine Challenge; a panelist for Wine Enthusiast, TASTED and Wine & Spirits magazines; and the Italy Wine Editor for the Professional Wine Reference.
Mary Gorman-McAdams MW
Mary Gorman-McAdams is a Master of Wine. She also holds the title WSET Diploma from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust.
Mary is a WSET Educator at the International Wine Center, New York City, wine columnist for the highly popular blog and website www.thekitchn.com, freelance wine writer and wine judge. She has also been a tasting panelist for Wine Enthusiast and Wine & Spirits Magazines.
Prior to her life in wine, Mary held various senior international marketing positions in Ireland and France and lectured in International Marketing Strategy at University College Dublin Graduate Business School. Mary has a BA (Honors) in Languages and International Marketing from Dublin City University and an MBS (First Class Honors) from the University College Dublin (UCD) Graduate School of Business. Mary is a member of the Society of Wine Educators in the US and a regular speaker at their annual conference.
